Ruby Begonia

Ruby was came to JCCARE after spending her life as a brood bitch at a puppy mill. She had no idea of potty habits, grass, play,  etc.  Ruby has been in her foster home for 3 months now and potty training is proving to be a big challenge.  She was so damaged by her mill experience that it is hard for her to cuddle or show any affection. A couple of the dogs in her foster home have tried to play with her, but she doesn't get it. This little girl has a big job ahead of her to learn what it means to be a loved and adored pet.

In addition to her emotional challenges, Ruby has entropian, a condition where the edges of the eye lid turn inwards causing the eye lashes to rub on the eyeball. The also has bad knees.
