Susan came to us at the age of ten after her owner, an elderly lady, was no longer able to look after her. Susan's health check-up revealed that she had a grade four heart murmur and was suffering from breast cancer. JCCARE provided surgery which gave Susan about two more years of life, which she spent in a End of the Trail home where the adopting parents are willing and able to provide special care for special needs dogs. We want to make sure that our old ones and ill ones do no lack for care and comfort.
