Bailey
He came to us
as an abandoned three and a half year old. His previous owner left him at her
vets since she was on the run for embezzlement charges. He was left with a Lhasa
Apso. We had been looking for a second dog after our Chin mix passed away.
We have a female Pomeranian who was our Gizmo's best friend. After his passing
she took the crown and didn't seem interested in sharing HER home. We had a
JCCARE rep. Valley Cannot visit From North Wales PA with a black and white
female who was close in age to our Pom. If you weren't looking you would have
said "CAT fight". That wasn't going to be.
We were accepted to adopt through that visit and got an Email ten days later
with "BON BON" in foster care at Charla Cross's home in North Carolina. I
printed out the photo and told my wife we have our new dog! YOU JUST KNOW! She
had nothing to say because I KNEW!!!!!!
Immediately contact was made and the wheels were rolling to a next week
delivery. Adoption fee and plane fare brought him to us. Then the meeting of the
new sister! We were wrecked worrying about a rebuff by the Pomeranian. We
introduced them outside our home and they were like old friends. We feel it had
to be a remembrance of our red & white Gizmo that she accepted this guy so easy.
We changed his name to Bailey since we thought Bon Bon was . . . . well. . . .
.sissy! He has been with us since late April and has attended a "CHIN FEST" in
New Jersey with 22 others.....some not even Chins! He is the love of our lives
and we swear he is possessed by the spirit of our Gizmo!
He moved into our home as though he had always lived here. Has NEVER had an
accident in the house and can be let off leash to do his business.
We spell Chin - PRIZE! Everybody won in this instance. He and his sister have a
great time playing and snuggling with us and each other. That is WIN WIN!
